The Minnesota Timberwolves have lost 3 straight games, which puts their playoff seeding in precarious position. Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert missed their last outing due to an illness but should be back tonight, being listed as probable to play. His return would be a massive boost for the team considering how dominant he was against the Clippers earlier in the season. He was able to record 25-points and 21-rebounds in his last game against them, and I am expecting him to be able to replicate the rebounding performance tonight.
The big men Gobert will likely come up against are Mason Plumlee and Ivica Zubac. Neither of these players are able to space the floor, allowing Gobert to stay in and around the paint. The Clippers have had issues rebounding too, sitting at 25th in the league in rebound percentage over the last 10 games. The Timberwolves have been 4th in pace over that stretch, and the extra possessions that pace creates should aid the Frenchman’s rebounding efforts too.
