Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The Minnesota Timberwolves have lost 3 straight games, which puts their playoff seeding in precarious position. That has left the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers hot on their trail for the play-in spots. They will be looking to put an end to their poor run against another team in LA as they take on the Clippers on Tuesday. The hosts are in a more comfortable position in the standings, ranking 5th in the west. However, their own 2 game losing streak has seen them pulled back closer to those currently occupying the play in positions. It is something they will be hoping to avoid going through.

Check out the Timberwolves vs Clippers Same Game Parlay I have put together for the game below. Be sure to take a look at the rest of our NBA picks, too.

Rudy Gobert to record 14+ rebounds (+130)

Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert missed their last outing due to an illness but should be back tonight, being listed as probable to play. His return would be a massive boost for the team considering how dominant he was against the Clippers earlier in the season. He was able to record 25-points and 21-rebounds in his last game against them, and I am expecting him to be able to replicate the rebounding performance tonight.

The big men Gobert will likely come up against are Mason Plumlee and Ivica Zubac. Neither of these players are able to space the floor, allowing Gobert to stay in and around the paint. The Clippers have had issues rebounding too, sitting at 25th in the league in rebound percentage over the last 10 games. The Timberwolves have been 4th in pace over that stretch, and the extra possessions that pace creates should aid the Frenchman’s rebounding efforts too.

Paul George to score 25+ points (+130)

The presence of Gobert in the middle forces teams to attack more from the perimeter. As a result, tonight’s visitors are 22nd in the NBA in opponent 3-pointers made per game. One man that is likely to take advantage of that is Paul George. He leads the Clippers in 3-pointers made per game and should be the leading scorer for the hosts tonight.

George is in good scoring form too. He has recorded 25 or more points in 2 of his last 3 games. His shooting percentages from beyond the arc improve at home too. With the pace this game is likely to be played at, he should get no shortage of touches. The Timberwolves are 18th in defensive ratings over the last 10 games. Look for them to struggle to contain George here in a high scoring game.
