Phoenix Suns ML (+640)
I know backing someone at this price might sound crazy at first, but hear me out. When you think about it, the Suns don’t really have much to lose in tonight’s game. Everyone has already written them off, just like they did in last night’s game against the defending champions Warriors who got Stephen Curry back and still came up short against Phoenix. With 5 players in the rotation missing, head coach Monty Williams will once again have to mix things up, last night everything went according to plan as 4 players scored 19 or more points in the upset over Golden State. The Nuggets have been flawless at home with 10 wins in a row, but all winning streaks must come to an end at some point, right? Phoenix does still have the edge in head-to-head meetings with 6 wins in the last 8 games played, plus they’ve also covered the spread 5 times in a row at Ball Arena. I say we risk it a bit and back them to upset the odds once again here. If you’re not feeling comfortable backing Phoenix to win, you can still back them to cover as 13-point underdogs, but keep in mind the price will go down significantly.

Nikola Jokic Over 0.5 Made Threes (-188)
What else can we say about Nikola Jokic that hasn’t been said already? The 2-time MVP has been crushing it lately averaging a triple double over his last 10 games, with 61-52-88 shooting splits. In his last game against the Lakers he finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 16 assists and 100% of shots made from the field, three point land and the charity stripe. He is just toying with opponents at this point. From three-point land he’s shooting an absurd 63.6% in 5 games played this year, he’s made a three in 5 of his last 6 games. In the game against the Suns earlier this season he dropped 41 points, he’s on a run of 3 consecutive games scoring at least 1 three against Phoenix and only twice in his last 8 games against them dating back to 2019 did he fail to knock down at least 1 three. Back the Serbian with confidence here.
