Friday night brings us a trio of Game 6s. 2 of the games will see the road team trying to close out the series, with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Cleveland Cavaliers on the brink of victory against the Houston Rockets and the Toronto Raptors, respectively. The Detroit Pistons will be looking to pick up a win in Orlando to force a Game 7 and avoid an upset by the 8th-seeded Magic. You can check out all of our expert NBA picks for EVERY playoff game, but first, check out my best NBA player props for Friday’s action.
Best NBA player prop bet: Desmond Bane (ORL) over 2.5 made threes (+110)
Following a slow start shooting from deep in the first 2 games of the series, Desmond Bane has caught fire from beyond the arc. After shooting just 3-of-15 in those games, he has knocked down 16 of his last 29 attempts in the 3 games since. That’s 55.2 percent shooting from deep. With Paolo Banchero being a force of nature of late, coming into Game 6 after a 45-point performance, expect him to draw help. That should allow players like Bane space the floor and to get opportunities to get their 3-point attempts off.
Bane has already seen his attempts rate increase in this series, with Bane attempting 8.8 3-pointers per game — up from 5.2 in the regular season. That includes 10 in each of the last 2 contests. Considering he is a 39.1 percent 3-point shooter on the season and his recent efficiency, he should have a great chance of hitting the over on this line.

Best NBA player prop bet: Deandre Ayton (LAL) over 12.5 points (-110)
Los Angeles Lakers center Deandre Ayton has become an influence in this series offensively. While he is averaging 12.8 points through the 5 games, he has managed 18 or more points on 3 occasions. That includes in each of his last 2 games. The return of Austin Reaves should be another positive influence for Ayton. It gives the Lakers another player capable of breaking down defenses outside of LeBron James. Reaves can draw help defenders and is a capable enough passer to find his center in great positions.
Ayton has hardly wasted his chances, too, knocking down 63.8 percent of his attempts this series. As a result, if he gets to double-digit attempts, he will have a great chance of hitting the over on this line. Being up against Alperen Sengun should continue to play to his advantage, as well. His Turkish opponent gives up a size advantage to the Lakers’ center and is not a terrific rim protector. As a result, let’s back Ayton to score plenty of points.
