Six Game 6s are the most in the opening round the NBA has had since 2014. Best NBA player prop bet: Tyrese Maxey (PHI) Over 3.5 rebounds (-120)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing
Tyrese Maxey made a concerted effort to rebound the basketball in Game 5. He reeled in 10 boards — a playoff career-high. The Celtics have dominated the 76ers on the offensive board throughout the first 4 games of the series, largely due to long rebounds after hoisting up three-pointers, but Maxey took matters into his own hands by flying around when a shot went up.
Maxey is in line to play upwards of 42 minutes, with likely no rest in the 2nd half, as we saw in Game 5. The 76ers will gladly let Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown work in the midrange, while they also get Joel Embiid out of the paint and have him work in the pick-and-roll. That would free up Maxey to reel in at least 4 rebounds.
