Utah Jazz +7.5 over Miami Heat (-110)
The Heat have been one of the most inconsistent teams in the association this season. However, they have been very consistent at being terrible at covering the spread. Miami is 4-13 ATS in their last 17 games and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games at home. Giving over 7 points to a solid Jazz team is too much, even with Utah missing Jordan Clarkson. The Jazz have a starting five that can match up well with the Heat’s starting unit, and the difference maker will be Lauri Markkanen. He has been consistently dropping 30+ points per game, and a performance like that could easily keep the Jazz in this game. Miami’s terrible run at covering the spread should continue on Monday night.

Boston Celtics -15.5 (+130) over Houston Rockets
At this point in the season, the Rockets do not want to win. They are tied with the Pistons for the worst record in the league, and with only about 15 games left in the season, it will be a heated race for the worst record. For that reason, Houston has a beneficial matchup against the Celtics on Monday. Boston is looking to stack up wins since the Bucks took the #1 spot in the Eastern Conference, so they won’t be taking it easy on Houston. The Celtics are the far more disciplined team and will hurt Houston from the perimeter, as their excellent three-point shooting should carry them to a blowout win.

Sacramento Kings ML (+110) over Milwaukee Bucks
It will be important to keep an eye on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s status for tonight’s game, as he is currently listed as questionable. Giannis did not play on Saturday during Milwaukee’s overtime loss to Golden State, and it would not surprise me to see him sit out today since the Bucks are on the first leg of a back-to-back tonight. Milwaukee has an important game in Phoenix tomorrow, as well, so they could sit him to be as rested as possible for tomorrow. As for the Kings, they have won 8 of their last 9 games and are coming off 2 big wins against the Knicks and Suns. They are playing excellent basketball at the moment, and whenever they are at plus-money odds this season the Kings are always worth a look.
