Sunday is here, and we’ve got a great NFL Week 3 slate to look forward to. We have 13 interesting matchups on the docket, and what better way to celebrate than by betting a Same Game Parlay?

The Atlanta Falcons will be looking to improve to 3-0 against the Detroit Lions following their comeback win over the Packers, and I have cooked up an SGP for the occasion. Here we go:

Atlanta Falcons ML (+138)

Desmond Ridder 250+ passing yards (+470)

Parlay odds: +1285

You can bet this Falcons vs Lions Same Game Parlay with FanDuel Sportsbook, which has the best odds available and a great new customer offer where you can bet $5 and receive $200 in bonus bets. Click here to take advantage of this can’t-miss offer.

We have a 2-leg Same Game Parlay, which pays out at north of 12/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook, and all we need for it to cash is one good game from Desmond Ridder. Let’s break it down:

Atlanta Falcons ML (+138)

The Falcons have started 2-0 and I can’t say I’m surprised. It was very clear last year that Arthur Smith was assembling something special, as he was consistently able to make the team’s offense fun and interesting even as it was quarterbacked by Marcus Mariota. Now the team has Bijan Robinson to help make his already creative ground attack even more dynamic, and Robinson looks like a star just two games into his NFL career.

Detroit deserves a ton of credit for its big Week 1 upset of the Chiefs, but the Lions came crashing down to reality last week against Seattle. The Seahawks beat them in their own stadium, and most concerning was the fact that the Lions lost even though Jared Goff played a pretty good game. Atlanta is a lot better on defense than Seattle is, and the big names they brought in this offseason, led by Calais Campbell and Jessie Bates, have been making a huge impact.

The Falcons have put up at least 24 points in each of their first two games, and it still feels like they’ve left a ton of points on the table. Detroit beat a Kansas City team without Travis Kelce or Chris Jones, and they did it by a single point after having all offseason to prepare for that opponent.

Head over to DraftKings Sportsbook to bet on this SGP. DraftKings has a great new-customer offer where you can bet $5 on ANY team and get $200 in bonus bets regardless of whether they win or lose! Click here to claim this great sign-up offer.

Desmond Ridder 250+ passing yards (+470)

We’re getting nearly 13/1 odds here and all we need is one good game from Ridder. The second-year pro out of Cincinnati wasn’t asked to do much in Week 1, as the Falcons’ defense was dominating Bryce Young and the Panthers and they mostly just ran the ball. Last week even with Robinson having a big day on the ground, Ridder was able to get to 237 yards against a tough Packers team. This is his first year as the starter, it shouldn’t be surprising that he was a bit up and down through the first two weeks.

He should continue to get more comfortable as the season goes on, and let’s not forget the Falcons have some great weapons in the passing game. Drake London and Kyle Pitts both have star potential, and London thankfully started to get going against Green Bay. And when you throw in the fact that this game will be played in a dome and the Lions just gave up 328 yards to Geno Smith, I like this prop a lot.

Smith was terrible in Week 1 when he had only 112 yards on 28 attempts, but then he had no issues torching this Detroit secondary last week. Lions safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson also went down with a torn pec in the loss to the Seahawks, which will make them considerably more vulnerable against the pass.
