Best bet for NFL Week 10: Carolina Panthers -4.5 over New Orleans Saints (-115)
It’s hard to describe just how bad the Saints are. They are 1-8 and their only win is thanks to the Giants losing the turnover battle 5 to 0 in Week 5. All 8 of New Orleans’ losses have come by at least 5 points. Now we’re asking head coach Kellen Moore’s crew to stay closer than that against a team that just went into Green Bay and beat the Packers?!?! It’s a no from me.
Amazingly enough, the Saints have actually gotten worse in recent weeks. They have not come within 12 points since Week 6 and their 2 most recent setbacks are by a combined margin of 57-13. Tyler Shough got his first NFL start on Sunday and the offense was predictably inept during a 34-10 rout at the hands of the Rams. Shough threw for 176 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. The Panthers have won 4 of their last 5 games and their only home loss this season is against the Bills. Let’s back Carolina to not only win but also cover with ease.
We’ll have NFL picks for every game in Week 10!
