Best bet for NFL Week 13: Houston Texans +3.5 over Indianapolis Colts (-105)

There is no way I’m giving more than a field goal in a division-rivalry game between the Texans and Colts. And I’m definitely not doing it when Houston – and its absolutely ferocious defense – is the side catching 3.5 points. Head coach DeMeco Ryans’ squad turned in a dominant defensive performance during a 23-19 victory over Buffalo this past Thursday night. The Texans forced 3 turnovers (2 Josh Allen interceptions), held the Bills to 4.9 yards per play and sacked Allen an absurd 8 times for a total of 70 lost yards.

Now the Texans are playing on a mini-bye following their Thursday Night Football exploits. Whereas Houston is well rested and rolling (it is 6-2 in its last 8 games since beginning the season 0-3), Indianapolis is coming off a tough loss to Kansas City. Prior to that result, the Colts needed overtime to get past the lowly Falcons in Berlin. Daniel Jones was playing great earlier this year, but he has come back down to Earth over the past 3 outings. Jones vs this Houston pass rush spells serious trouble for the home side on Sunday afternoon.

We’ll have NFL picks for every game in Week 13!
