Best bet for NFL Week 14: Miami Dolphins -2.5 over New York Jets (-115)
The Dolphins should have covered in Week 13 as -5.5 favorites over the Saints. They didn’t, nearly squandering all of a 16-0 second-half lead. The Jets should not have covered on Sunday as +2.5 underdogs against the Falcons. They did – and even won outright – despite getting dominated in most phases of the game other than special teams.
If both teams are due for the outcome that should happen in Week 14, Miami will win and cover at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The Jets are horrible. They are 3-9 and had no business winning any of the games they have won – over Atlanta on a last-second field goal, Cleveland by 7 points after gaining 169 yards of total offense and Cincinnati without Joe Burrow by 1 point after trailing by 15 in the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, the Fins have suddenly won 4 of their last 5 games – a stretch that includes a 30-13 beatdown of Buffalo. Let’s jump on this spread quickly while it’s under a field goal.
We’ll have NFL picks for every game in Week 14!
