Best bet for NFL Week 17: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Miami Dolphins Under 46.5 (-110)

The Tua Tagovailoa era is over in Miami – or at least that appears to be the case. At the very least, Tagovailoa’s season is over. The left-hander was benched following Week 15 and Quinn Ewers replaced him this past Sunday. Ewers was unspectacular at best during a home loss to Cincinnati this past weekend. The Texas product did not throw a touchdown pass and was picked off twice. The Dolphins had 14 points with more than 6 minutes remaining in the first half, but they did not score again until garbage time against a defense that is the absolute worst in football.

Ewers has a much tougher test on his hands against Tampa Bay. The Bucs’ pass defense is poor, but that is not exactly how Miami moves the ball down the field – especially not with Ewers under center. Tampa Bay is very good against the run, ranking seventh in the league in that department. Count on the visitors stacking the box and doing its best to take De’Von Achane out of the equation. On the other side of the ball, the Bucs’ second-half collapse is due in part to a struggling offense. Baker Mayfield has thrown 6 interceptions in the past 6 games; he threw 2 in the first 9.

We’ll have NFL picks for every game in Week 17!
