Best bet for NFL Week 7: New England Patriots -7 over Tennessee Titans (-115)

The Titans just fired head coach Bill Callahan – and for good reason. This is the worst team in the entire NFL…yes, even worse than the Jets. Tennessee is 1-5 and its only win is a miracle (“fluke” would probably be an even more accurate description) fourth-quarter comeback from 15 points down against Arizona, made possible by Cardinals running back Emari Demarcado dropping the ball before going into the endzone followed by one of the luckiest touchdowns in football history after the Cardinals fumbled an interception.

Teams can sometimes galvanize around an interim head coach, but that’s usually when they have a chance to really turn around the season. That obviously isn’t the case with the Titans. Even they know that this is a rebuilding process that will require many years. Now they are being asked to compete with a team that went into Orchard Park and beat the Bills in Week 5? The Patriots are 4-2, have won 3 in a row, and Drake Maye looks like the real deal at quarterback. Moreover, they are 3-0 on the road. It’s not like Tennessee has any kind of significant home-field advantage, either, so New England should win this game by more than a touchdown.

We’ll have NFL picks for every game in Week 7!
