Best bet for NFL Week 9: Indianapolis Colts -3 over Pittsburgh Steelers (-115)
At this point in the season, the sample size is large enough to prove that the Colts are no fluke. They are 7-1 and their only loss has come on the road against the Rams in a game they really should have won. Five of Indianapolis’ victories have come by double-digits, including margins of 25, 21, 34 and 24. Daniel Jones’ resurgence is on course to be the stuff of legend.
The Steelers are only 3-point underdogs because they are playing at home, but what good has Acrisure Stadium done so far this season? Aaron Rodgers and company have already lost there twice – by 14 points to Seattle in Week 2 and by 10 to Green Bay this past Sunday. The Packers went on a 21-0 run in the fourth quarter before the Steelers scored a late meaningless touchdown. This is simply a tale of 2 teams going in different directions – and with a significant discrepancy in talent level.
