Hopefully you were able to catch last night’s NHL Stadium Series game between the Flyers and Devils, but even if not, you don’t have to wait long for another one. Less than 24 hours later, we have another one at MetLife Stadium with the New York Rangers and New York Islanders going head-to-head. To get you set for it, we’ve provided our best Rangers vs Islanders Same Game Parlay picks.

Along with our NHL Same Game Parlay picks, be sure to check out all of our NHL predictions for today’s action!

Rangers ML (-145)

Under 6 goals (-120)

Vincent Trocheck assist (+100)

Parlay odds +425

New York Rangers ML (-145) over New York Islanders

Not only is this matchup the second NHL Stadium Series game in as many days, but it’s also the first Battle of New York this season. In fact, the Rangers and Islanders haven’t faced off since December of 2022! That makes today’s game that much more exciting, and with an afternoon puck-drop, we won’t have to wait much longer. As for the first leg of our Rangers vs Islanders Same Game Parlay picks, we’re taking the Rangers to win the game. You could boost the odds even further with the 3-way money line, but we’re keeping this simple.

Although it’s still to be decided if we see Igor Shesterkin or Jonathan Quick between the pipes at time of writing, it’s the Rangers offensive firepower that should make the difference. They’re coming off a win in which they scored 7 goals, which also made it 6 straight wins for the blue shirts. Meanwhile, the Islanders have scored just 3 total goals across their last 2 games. So, we’re looking for that win streak to extend to 7 games today.

Under 6 goals (-120)

Given what we just mentioned about the Islanders’ offensive woes as of late, it’s no shock that we’re also expecting a low-scoring game. That’s what first comes to mind with this matchup given elite goaltenders on both sides, which is why we have a total that is nearing 5.5 goals much more so than 6.5. Even still, we’ll gladly take the under, especially after seeing that the Islanders have scored more than 3 goals just once over their last 12 games!

That’s quite a remarkable streak of poor goal-scoring, and the Rangers have posted a shutout and allowed just a single goal to the Colorado Avalanche and Tampa Bay Lightning within their last 5 games alone. That supports each of the first 2 legs of our Rangers vs Islanders Same Game Parlay picks, so we’re expecting a low-scoring Rangers win.

Vincent Trocheck to record an assist (+100)

Although we aren’t expecting a ton of goals overall, we are looking for one Rangers skater to contribute to one. In terms of assists, many fans would likely think of Artemi Panarin right off the bat. That is more than fair, especially coming off a 3-assist game just the other night. However, he has one of the best slapshots in the NHL, and with Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider being able to find the back of the net on a nightly basis,

Vincent Trocheck has a full line of options to dish out an assist to. Of his 48 points this season, 32 have been apples, and although he scored a goal the other night, it was Kreider with a hat trick. We may only see a few goals scored today, but we expect them to come from the Rangers, and ultimately, from the stick of Trocheck. So, to round out our Rangers vs Islanders Same Game Parlay picks, we’re focused on the former Panther and Hurricane to dish out an assist.
