The 2023 Stanley Cup playoffs skate on with 2 Game 4s on Tuesday night — the second of which will take place up in the Pacific Northwest with the Seattle Kraken hosting the Dallas Stars. After splitting a pair of games in Dallas 1-1, the Kraken impressed on home ice in Game 3 with a 7-2 win. So, can the Stars even things back up before heading back down to Dallas? We’re here to answer that question with a Stars vs Kraken Same Game Parlay, so let’s get into it.

Dallas Stars -1.5 over Seattle Kraken (+172)

To witness the Stars get blown out in Game 3 was quite the shock after seeing how dominant they looked in Game 2. Despite that, I’m still willing to back the team that is simply more complete and more experienced. The Stars have far more scoring threats with Jason Robertson, Roope Hintz, Joe Pavelski and captain Jamie Benn. Seattle can no longer be underestimated, but let’s not forget that it didn’t have a single skater average at least a point per game this season.

Even with the Stars’ offense over-performing, I also don’t expect such a lackluster showing from goaltender Jake Oettinger. The Stars even ended up pulling him, but if anything I’m willing to view that as extra rest for a goalie that is too mentally tough to let that phase him. Benn even stated after the game that the team didn’t provide much help in front of him. Dallas bounced back after Game 1’s loss to win Game 2 by multiple goals; therefore, I trust that they can do so again.

Over 5.5 goals (-120)

While I’m expecting a better night out of Oettinger, I also aren’t anticipating a shutout. Similarly, we don’t need an abundance of goals to get over this total. Even the 4-2 Dallas win in Game 2 would have cleared this number. That would be the perfect recipe for our Stars vs. Kraken Same Game Parlay. Admittedly, when it comes to these 2 teams a low-scoring game would be the first thought. However, they have proven otherwise far too often.

Firstly, this series began with a 9-goal output — which is what we also saw in Game 3. That trend even goes back to their regular-season meetings. In their 3 matchups this year we saw 7 goals scored in 2 of them and 9 yet again in the most recent outing. I already mentioned Dallas’ weapons and the Kraken continue to impress, so I’m adding the over to this SGP.

Jason Robertson Over 0.5 goals (+135)

Wrapping up our Stars vs Kraken Same Game Parlay is one of those Dallas weapons I mentioned. Benn may be the captain and Pavelski the seasoned veteran, but the leader of the Stars has become Robertson. The 25-year-old proved to be a future face of the league last year, and he has continued that success in 2023.

His 109 points this year were tied with Florida’s Matthew Tkachuk for the 5th most in the NHL. Similarly, his 46 goals were the 7th most in the league. He has been quiet so far in this series, but I don’t expect that to last for long. When these teams last met in Seattle in the regular season, Robertson was able to find the back of the net. With his team needing to even things up before heading home, expect a big night from him.

Stars vs Kraken Same Game Parlay (5/9)

Stars -1.5 (+135)

Over 5.5 (-120)

Robertson Over 0.5 goals (+135)
