The FIFA Club World Cup Quarterfinals are underway and the game of this round takes place as Paris Saint-Germain battles Bayern Munich. If you told fans this was the FIFA CWC Final, they would’ve been ecstatic. However, the Germans fell in their final group-stage match against Benfica and were punished by being on the same side of the bracket as PSG, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. Both teams scored 4 goals in the Round of 16, as PSG dismantled Inter Miami 4-2, and Bayern eliminated Flamengo 4-2, who are at the top of the Brazilian league.

The first player I’m targeting in this game is Bayern Munich ST Harry Kane. The English striker was an animal against Flamengo, scoring 2 goals. His odds are only behind Benfica’s Angel Di Maria for the Golden Boot, and I expect him to take advantage in this matchup. However, scoring against PSG will be difficult, as the Parisians have allowed just 1 goal at this tournament, so I’m choosing a different route.
Even if Kane fails to find the back of the net, he’ll do his best to try. Additionally, he’s known for testing the opposing goalkeeper, as he had 2 shots on target against Flamengo and is the main man up top for Bayern. He’s averaged 1.6 shots on target in Bayern’s last 15 games dating back to last season. Although that’s just short of what we need for our first leg, I expect him to put in his best effort since PSG are the favorites to advance. If the Germans want to pull off the upset, they’ll need Kane to be at his best.

PSG vs Bayern Munich player props: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Record 2+ Shots (-150)
The second PSG vs Bayern Munich Same Game Parlay pick is similar to my first, as I’m backing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to also record 2+ shots. The Georgian is one of PSG’s most dynamic attackers, and although he doesn’t score every game, he affects the game in other ways. He’s an excellent dribbler, and I anticipate that he’ll take his chances against this Bayern back four. They just allowed 2 goals to Flamengo, and I expect PSG to score at least 2 goals tomorrow.
Kvaratskhelia has 3+ shots in 3 of PSG’s 4 games at the FIFA Club World Cup and has 3+ shots in 12 of the previous 15 matches in which he’s been in the Starting XI. During that stretch, he averaged 3.3 shots per game. Ousmane Dembélé made his first appearance at this tournament when he came off the bench against Inter Miami, so I expect Kvaratskhelia to be the main man for PSG up top, and he should record at least 2 shots against Bayern Munich.

PSG vs Bayern Munich best bet: Under 4.5 Goals (-460)
The final pick for my SGP is a bit chalky, but I expect a cagey affair when these two squads square off tomorrow. Now, they both scored 4 goals in the Round of 16, but I expect this match to be more similar to what we saw when these two teams squared off in the 2019-20 Champions League Final. That game ended in a 1-0 Bayern victory, but the total entering it was set at 3.5! It’s safe to say that the old motto of “You can’t win a game in the first half, but you can lose one’ will be in full effect during this match.
2 of Bayern’s games at this tournament featured more than 4 goals, but one of them came against Auckland City, and the other was against Flamengo, who were chasing the game when it was 3-1 at halftime. Even with those 2 games, 12 of their previous 15 matches finished with fewer than 15 goals. For PSG, 13 of their last 15 games featured fewer than 5 goals. Both teams won’t give too much at the start of this game, so I expect a low-scoring first half, and we should finish tomorrow’s contest with 4 goals or fewer.
