The NBA slate is busy on Wednesday and we have a solid 10-game slate to sort through. Playoff caliber matchups are abundant, including the New York Knicks (+2) vs Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers (-3.5) vs Chicago Bulls, and Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Lakers (+1). In injury news, there is an outside possibility we see Ja Morant return tonight after a 9-game absence, Anthony Edwards is still questionable, and Deandre Ayton is out tonight vs Lakers. Let’s dive into my favorite plays of the night.

Steph Curry (GSW) over 5.5 assists (+118)

Line available on FanDuel Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

We’re getting plus odds on Curry to hit his season average of 6 assists per game; sign me up. Curry is averaging 11 potential assists per game post-ASB and 5.7 APG in March. Dallas is middle of the pack (14th) in Opp APG post-ASB so the matchup is not anything to be concerned about. In two games this season vs DAL, Curry is averaging 11.5 potential APG converting to 6 assists. Love this at plus odds. 1U

Desmond Bane (MEM) under 31.5 PRA (-118)

Line available on FanDuel Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

It’s been trendy to pick overs when facing the Houston Rockets this season. And as a casual better, I wouldn’t blame you, but these last few weeks we’ve seen fight in this Rockets team defensively. Over the last 10 games they’re allowing the 12th fewest assists, 12th lowest FG%, and 4th fewest rebounds per game; largely in part to Tari Eason and his emergence in the lineup. Bane is averaging 30PRA post-ASB and hit this in 1/2 vs HOU this season. Morant is questionable to return tonight and if he plays, this is a great line. If he doesn’t play, I still think 31.5 is still too high considering he only hit it in 5/9 without Ja in the lineup. 1U

Demar Derozan (CHI) over 22.5 points (-115)

Line available on DraftKings sportsbook at the time of publishing.

This is strictly a numbers play for me as 22.5 is just too low for Derozan, regardless of matchup. He’s hit this in 2 of 3 vs the 76ers for the season and in 62% of games this year. The 76ers play stout defense and a slow pace, but 24th in the league in Opp FTA over the L10 games. Derozan should get to the FT line with ease and hit this number two games in a row. His previous game vs PHI he played 46 minutes, which I do not expect again, but he also shot 10/22 from the field. That volume is what we want to see in an over on points. 1U

Matisse Thybulle (POR) over 3.5 rebounds (+130)

Line available on FanDuel Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

The Trailblazers will be without Jerami Grant, Nasir Little, and Anfernee Simons tonight and that put me over the edge on this play. Thybulle managed to hit this line last game despite Nasir Little picking up 25minutes of play. Thybulle should see 25+ min tonight and when he eclipses that mark as a Trailblazer, he hit this line in 6/11 games. 1U

Anthony Davis (LAL) over 25.5 points (-125)

Line available on BetMGM Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

Davis is right at 25.3PPG post-ASB, but every game is a “must win” for the LA Lakers who are fending off the Pelicans for the last play-in spot. In his solo game this season vs PHO, Davis had 37 points and Deandre Ayton played. Tonight, the Suns will be without Ayton. Last game w/o Ayton in the lineup, Phoenix gave up 23 points in the paint on 60.5% shooting. 1U
