NBA pick today: Philadelphia 76ers -2.5 over Brooklyn Nets (-108), 1:00 pm ET
So far in this series Philadelphia has shown that it can win in a variety of ways. In Game 1 the Sixers knocked down 21 shots from deep and went a perfect 16-for-16 from the stripe. Game 2 was a rock fight and even on a night when James Harden was held to only 8 points, the Sixers put together a great defensive effort by holding Brooklyn to only 84 points.
In Game 3 on Thursday the 76ers overcame the loss of Harden and prevailed in a close one. The Nets haven’t had an answer yet, and that is unlikely to change this afternoon against the team that has found an answer for every obstacle that’s been thrown at them. For that reason, backing the Sixers to complete the sweep will be our play.

NHL pick today: Tampa Bay Lightning ML over Toronto Maple Leafs (+100), 7:00 pm ET
With the first 2 games of this series in the books, these Atlantic Division rivals head down to Tampa Bay after being up in Toronto thus far. Being in Tampa should provide a huge spark to the Lightning, who are looking to make their 4th straight Stanley Cup Finals appearance. The Lightning ended the season with the 2nd-best home record at an impressive 28-8-5. Because of their experienced core that knows what it takes to win in the postseason, backing Tampa Bay at home will be our play.

MLS pick today: New England Revolution ML over Sporting Kansas City (-140), 7:30 pm ET
Top of the Eastern Conference plays last place in the Western Conference at Gillette Stadium and the outcome should be another win for the high-flying New England Revolution. The Revs are the team to beat in this year’s Eastern Conference and having beaten Montreal 4-0 in their most recent home game, they are looking for another comfortable win over Sporting Kansas City, which has scored only 2 goals in 8 winless MLS games. New England has won 3 of its last 4 MLS home games, therefore backing it to win tonight will be the play.

NBA pick today: Memphis Grizzlies vs Los Angeles Lakers – Under 221 points (-110), 10:00 pm ET
The head-to-head matchups between these teams have been very productive on the under, with 16 of the last 20 meetings cashing on that bet. With the Lakers going 18-24 O/U at home and the Grizzlies finishing the regular season with a 18-23 O/U record on the road, the projected total feels a bit too high. Game 3 is a pivotal one, so both teams should be sharp on defense and backing the under will be our play.
