It’s Super Bowl week, and with that comes what feels like a million ways to bet the big game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. In most cases, the championship game of any league is going to have razor-sharp lines, as oddsmakers have an entire season’s worth of data to produce the most efficient number in a matchup between the best teams in the sport. Because of this, there’s less perceived value on the sides and total, which paves the way for exotic prop betting – like betting on the exact final score.

How to bet on the Super Bowl 60 final score
If you’re a fan of Super Bowl squares, then you’re going to love betting the final score market. The odds are huge, so you can risk a little to win a lot, which is exactly the type of entertainment I’m looking for when betting the Super Bowl. Let me emphasize that; this is an entertainment bet that should come with very little risk. I’m not advocating for you to go out and bet the final score of a random Thursday Night Football game in Week 6, nor am I promoting final-score betting in a Monday basketball game.
These types of bets are simply a roll of the dice, but that doesn’t mean they’re impossible to hit. In fact, I’ve hit a couple in the last few years, including the 2023 NCAA men’s basketball championship between San Diego State and UConn, as well as the 2025 college football between Ohio State and Notre Dame. If it wasn’t for Indiana’s 4th-quarter field goal against Miami this year, I would have had a chance for another.

Of course, we’re throwing darts when we’re betting into this type of market. It’s pretty much a guess, but there are ways to make educated guesses rather than throwing darts with your non-dominant hand. My process combines analyzing the on-field matchup with past head-to-head results (if applicable) and previous championship-game trends, all while considering the efficiency of the market and letting the spread/total guide me. So what are my final score picks for Super Bowl 60? Let’s get into it.

As you can tell, I like the Seahawks to prevail in Super Bowl 60, so I’m going all-in on scores that reflect them winning. Seattle’s defense has been fierce this season, sitting 2nd in the NFL in EPA/play allowed, 3rd in success rate, 8th in EPA/pass and 1st in EPA/rush. This unit is also top-3 in opposing average depth of target and rush yards allowed, so it could be difficult for the Patriots to find explosive plays throughout this game. That said, the Patriots are no strangers to playing elite defenses in the playoffs, as they’ve had to go through the Chargers, Texans and Broncos to get to this point – all of whom grade as top-8 defenses in EPA/play and success rate. Given offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels’ experience calling plays in previous Super Bowls, I expect him to have a plan in place to at least put a respectable amount of points on the board.
On the other side, the Seahawks have scored in bunches more often than not over the last couple of months. Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba have been nearly matchup-proof this entire season, representing an infinitely better passing attack than the Patriots have seen at any point this postseason. New England grades well defensively, but the major talking point is their relatively easy strength of schedule. High-caliber opposing offenses scored in the 20s and even into the 30s against this group multiple times, so points can be found against this New England defense – especially if Seattle can force some turnovers and give Darnold and company short fields to work with.
In all, I’m expecting a fairly competitive game in which the Seahawks are able to pull away late to win, and I’ve selected 5 scores somewhat close to the market price of this game to reflect that. Hopefully the fortunes are in our favor in the final football game of the season. Good luck!
