Terry Rozier, PG, CHA Under 25.5 points (-122)

Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Call me crazy, but I’m on the fade Scary Terry train tonight. After scoring more than 26 points in three of his last 5 games, including 21 points in the 2nd half alone last night, I like this spot to fade Terry Rozier against the Philadelphia 76ers — who are coming off a 30+ point win last night over the woeful Detroit Pistons.

The 76ers rank in the top half in points allowed to the point-guard position, including back-to-back games of holding Cade Cunningham below his points line. De’Anthony Melton and Tobias Harris are more than capable defenders to give Rozier trouble, especially in the pick-and-roll game. They will fight over screens instead of having Joel Embiid switch onto him. With a 10-point spread, Rozier coming off playing 39 minutes. The rest of the books having this line set at 24.5 with vig on the under. I love this fade spot.

Cade Cunningham, PG, DET, Over 19.5 points (-125)

Line available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Cade Cunningham is the back-to-back king. Let me explain. In 5 instances this season where Cunningham is playing on the second leg of a back-to-back, he has scored more than 20 points all 5 times. My research isn’t done there. Cunningham and the Pistons match up against the Milwaukee Bucks, who surrender the 3rd-most points per game to the PG position. I’m factoring in Bogdan Bogdanovic taking some of the usage away, but Cunningham already has a 33-point game against the Bucks this season.

As double-digit underdogs again, my fingers will be crossed that the Pistons can keep this game close and have Cunningham log more than the 24 minutes he played last night against the stout 76ers defense. With a 241-point total, Cunningham has a real shot to eclipse this line for the 18th time in 26 games this season.
