We’re getting close to the NBA playoffs, but in the meantime, we’ve got a 5-game slate on Thursday with pivotal matchups, including the Nuggets heading to Los Angeles to take on the Clippers. Let’s dive into my best NBA player prop bets, while you can also check out our NBA picks for today’s action.

James Harden, LAC, Over 15.5 points (-104)

Odds available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Don’t leave yet; I know how bad James Harden has been, but this number without Kawhi Leonard is one that I must play. Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers will host the Denver Nuggets, who may be without Jamal Murray but remain 4-point favorites according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Speaking of FanDuel, they’ve already raised Harden’s price of over 15.5 to -122 — the value of line shopping is crucial with this player prop bet. We’re turning to Caesars, where they have the over priced at -104.

Without Leonard in the Clippers’ last game, Harden failed to step up. He scored just 6 points on 1-of-7 shooting from the field. But I’ll back the narrative of Harden bouncing back at home in a crucial spot. The Clippers are currently 2 games ahead of the Dallas Mavericks in the 4-spot and hosting a playoff series against them.

Check out tonight’s NBA mega parlay as we look to cash our 4th of the week!

Terance Mann, LAC, Under 8.5 points (-120)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

I may be the only person on a Terance Mann under, and that’s okay. Yes, even without Kawhi Leonard. Norman Powell will join Mann in the starting lineup and take up some usage. Not only will Powell get more looks, but Russell Westbrook is healthy and slowly seeing more and more time.

With Leonard sidelined last game, Mann scored 6 points on 2-of-5 from the field. He’s the 5th option, even behind Ivica Zubac, who will be battling Nikola Jokic and see an increase in minutes as the Clippers can’t go small. If Westbrook or Brandon Boston Jr., who saw over 20 minutes last game, can contribute, I’d expect Mann to see even more of a backseat.

We also have a Nuggets vs Clippers Same Game Parlay for tonight’s matchup on TNT!
