Avalanche ML (+100)

Wild ML 3-Way (+135)

Oilers -1.5 (+135)

Parlay Odds (+1004)

Let’s break down each leg:

Colorado Avalanche ML (+100) over Pittsburgh Penguins

The Colorado Avalanche and Pittsburgh Penguins switch venues for their Tuesday night matchup, as both teams played on Saturday in Colorado, with the Avalanche coming out with a 3-2 win. These 2 points are huge for both teams, as the Penguins are trying to catch the Rangers for 2nd in the Metropolitan Division while the Avalanche would like to keep their lead as the best team in the NHL.

This game comes down to roster and value. The Avalanche’s core group of players are still reaching or in their prime, while the core group of Penguins players are on the other side of their prime. Also, getting positive odds with the best team in the NHL, who has 1 regulation loss in its last 10 games, is a gift. Take the Avalanche money line.

Minnesota Wild ML 3-way (+135) over Nashville Predators

The Minnesota Wild continue their 4-game road trip when they play the Nashville Predators on Tuesday night. The Wild have been on an absolute tear, winning 9 of their last 10 games, and have slowly pulled away into 2nd place in the Central Division. The Predators have been more mediocre, going 6-4-0 in their last 10 games, and they find themselves in a battle for the playoffs.

The Wild have been better than the Predators on both sides of the ice as well recently, as the Wild have outscored their opponents 18-9 in their last 5 games, while the Predators have been outscored 21-14 in their last 5 games. Take the better, hotter team to win in regulation and place your bet on the Wild money line 3-way.

Edmonton Oilers -1.5 (+135) over San Jose Sharks

The Edmonton Oilers continue their California road trip on Tuesday as they play the San Jose Sharks. The Oilers have been hot, winning 5 of their last 6 games, which includes a 5-2 win over the Sharks, and pushing the Kings for 2nd place in the Pacific Division. The Sharks, on the other hand, have lost 4 of 5 games and are all but mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

The Oilers’ offense has been firing on all cylinders. In their past 6 games, they have scored at least 4 goals in a game and have averaged 5.33 goals per game. Trying to stop that offense will be a borderline bottom-10 defense of the Sharks who have allowed 4 goals per game in their last 5 games. Look for the Oilers’ offense to keep scoring on a bad Sharks defense and place your bet on the Oilers puck line.
