Let’s break down each of the legs.

Winnipeg Jets -1.5 over Vegas Golden Knights (+220)

The Vegas Golden Knights wrap up a 5-game road trip on Tuesday when they play the Winnipeg Jets. The Knights are in free-fall mode as they have lost every single game on this road trip, in which their last 3 losses came by 2 or more goals. Defense has been an issue with the Golden Knights as they rank in the bottom 12 of expected goals against, while allowing 4 goals against per game on this road trip. The bigger issue is that the Golden Knights find themselves just one point away from losing the last playoff spot as well.

The Jets have found a groove recently, winning 3 of their last 4 games, while averaging 3.75 goals per game during that stretch. The Jets are also only 4 points back of the Golden Knights for that last playoff spot, so there will be extra motivation to take this game at home. Fade the struggling Golden Knights and place your bet on the Jets puck line.

Colorado Avalanche -1.5 over Los Angeles Kings (+125)

The Colorado Avalanche start a 2-game California road trip on Tuesday as they face the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings had a nice bounce-back win against the Panthers on Sunday after getting swept in a home and home against the Sharks. However, the Kings are dealing with injuries. In the past 5 days, the Kings have placed their top defensemen (Drew Doughty) and 2 of their top 6 forwards (Dustin Brown and Viktor Arvidsson) on IR. Losing all those players will make stopping the best team in the NHL, the Avalanche, a tough task, considering the Avalanche are averaging 3.83 goals per game on the season. Fade an injured Kings team and place your bet on the Avalanche puck line.

Florida Panthers -1.5 over San Jose Sharks (+110)

The Florida Panthers continue their road trip on Tuesday as they play the San Jose Sharks. The Sharks are struggling. Before the recent series sweep of the Kings, the Sharks had won 2 of 13 games which saw them drop to 13th in the Western Conference. The Sharks will have a tough time containing the top offensive team in the league, as the Sharks rank in the bottom 10 in expected goals against and 20th in goals against per game.

The weakness on the Panthers has been on the back end. The chances of the Sharks taking advantage of the Panthers defense is small, as they rank in the bottom 10 in both goals for per game and expected goals. Fade a bad defensive team in the Sharks playing the best offensive team in the Panthers and place your bet on the Panthers puck line.
