Champions League pick today: Tottenham Hotspur – To Advance over AC Milan (+130), 3:00 pm ET

Tottenham has endured a miserable week, losing 1-0 to second-tier team Sheffield United in the FA Cup before a Premier League loss by the same scoreline at Wolves. However, the Champions League last-16 second leg against Milan this afternoon could be the kind of occasion to drag Spurs out of their slump and they could overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg.

Milan began 2023 with a run of 1 win in 8 games in all competitions before narrow victories over Torino, Tottenham, Monza and Atalanta. The Italian champions slipped to a 2-1 Serie A loss at Fiorentina on Saturday, scoring an injury-time consolation goal, and if Spurs start strongly they could buckle under pressure.

NHL pick today: Winnipeg Jets ML over Minnesota Wild (-125), 7:37 pm ET

These two teams are tough to figure out, as they both have some notable strengths but they also have some glaring weaknesses which makes them inconsistent teams from time to time. Minnesota has thrived on the defensive end of the ice this season as they rank 2nd in xGA per 60 minutes, and they also have two terrific goaltenders. However, their offense has struggled to score the puck as they rank 23rd in xGF per 60 minutes.

On the other side, the Jets sit around league average in most offensive and defensive metrics, so they heavily rely on goalie Connor Hellebuyck to win them games. Winnipeg has terrific depth on both ends of the ice, but it hasn’t translated to dominant play at even strength. Nonetheless, that depth should give them a huge edge in this matchup as the Wild will be playing their second game in as many nights. For that reason, backing the Jets to win will be the play.

College Basketball pick today: Villanova Wildcats -12 over Georgetown Hoyas (-110), 8:00 pm ET

Villanova is getting hot at the right time, while Georgetown is limping to the finish line. The Wildcats won 6 of their final 8 games of the season, and their only losses came from Providence and UConn.

In their first Big East tournament game, they are paired against Georgetown, who has been in the basement of the conference standings all season. The Hoyas have lost 9 of their last 10 games and ended their regular season on a 0-3 ATS skid. For that reason, backing the Wildcats will be the play.

NBA pick today: Chicago Bulls vs Denver Nuggets – Under 229 points (-110), 9:00 pm ET

Chicago has actually been an under team this season. It is not that they are especially good defensively, more that the offense is not living up to expectations. Getting guard Patrick Beverley gives them a little defensive edge, but that is not as valuable against a team like Denver because Jokic does so much ball handling, instead of the guards. The Nuggets generally like to take their time and they are only allowing 109 points per game at home this season. For that reason, backing the under looks to be the best play.
