About Last Night

Braves draw level with Mets in NL East
The NL East race looks set to provide great entertainment in the final week of the MLB regular season and the Braves drew level with the Mets by beating the New Yorkers 5-2 despite Jacob deGrom starting for the visitors. Both teams now have 98-59 records with 2 games left in their current series. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Mets at -190 odds to win the division with the Braves at +150. The Dodgers got their 109th win by smashing the Rockies 10-1 and the Mariners clinched their first playoff spot in 21 years by beating the A’s 2-1.

Washington upset on Friday night
The Washington Huskies were the only ranked NCAAF team in action on Friday night, but the #15 team was upset 40-32 by UCLA, which moved to 5-0 on the season. Tulane beat Houston in overtime but Boise State comfortably covered against San Diego State.

Best Bet of the Day

CFB: Kentucky Wildcats +7 over Ole Miss Rebels
12:00 pm ET, ESPN

Kentucky travels to Oxford to face Ole Miss in an SEC cross-divisional matchup. Kentucky quarterback Will Levis is averaging close to 300 passing yards per game and showing NFL promise. The Wildcats offense will get a boost with running back Chris Rodriguez making his season debut after being suspended for the first 4 games. Ole Miss was shut out in the second half last week at home against Tulsa. That’s a bad omen given they will face a much tougher defense in Kentucky. The Wildcats have already won a tough road game this year, beating Florida in Gainesville two weeks ago, and they are 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 games against teams with a winning record. Read our full Kentucky vs Ole Miss predictions.
