Los Angeles easily finished Under the total in each of its first two games, a blowout loss to San Francisco followed by a home rout of the Giants. The Rams were on their way to a third consecutive Under before Denver busted out for 30 second-half points in a 30-26 triumph on a 43.5 total.
It was the opposite case for Philadelphia, who hit the Over in the first two games prior to an Under in Monday’s 27-7 defeat at Chicago on a 42.5 total.
Philadelphia’s defensive EPA/Pass sits 23rd in the NFL, while its defensive EPA/Rush is 27th. The Rams haven’t dominated offensively in these categories, ranking 17th in EPA/Pass and 20th in EPA/Rush.
The last three matchups in this series cashed the Over, as Sunday’s total equaled the 43.5 total from the 2024 playoffs in which the Eagles beat the Rams, 28-22. It will be interesting to see if Matthew Stafford and Jalen Hurts can figure out these opposing pass defenses, who have each allowed an average of less than 200 passing yards a game.
With Puke Nacua’s expected return to the lineup for the Rams, we’ll see how that affects Davante Adams, who put up 195 and 137 receiving yards in the past two weeks. The Rams are capable of doing their part to hit the Over, while the Eagles look to bounce back after their struggles in Chicago.
