When we last saw the Detroit Red Wings on the ice, we were able to cash in with them losing by multiple goals to the Tampa Bay Lightning, and now they have another tough test. That’s because they’re taking on the Vegas Golden Knights, hence why it’s time to have the best Golden Knights vs Red Wings prediction.
They’ll at least be back at home after two straight games in Florida, but that loss to Tampa wasn’t the only one recently. As Detroit works through their Dylan Larkin drama, they’re sitting at the bottom of the Atlantic Division, while the Golden Knights trail only Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers in the Pacific Division. We expected to find an approach with the total for this game, but as it turns out, Vegas isn’t as heavy of a favorite as anticipated. That said, if you can still grab the total at 5.5, we’d take the over as a pivot. Even still, for our best Golden Knights vs Red Wings prediction, we’re riding the road team.
Although Mitch Marner and company have lost some recent games, they were to teams of higher caliber than Detroit. Maybe they’ll figure things out once the Larkin drama dies down, but for now, we’re taking Vegas.
