Starting off tonight's NHL parlay, I'm backing the Canadiens to take care of the Sabres. Montreal actually eliminated Buffalo from last season's NHL Playoffs, and I expect the Canadiens to have their number again. The Sabres played only yesterday, and while that did end in victory, they did lose captain Rasmus Dahlin to injury. That impact could be felt here, and I like the Canadiens to pick up the win tonight on home ice.
Next, let's take the Golden Knights to beat the Predators. Vegas lost to Minnesota last night, but should be able to bounce back here. Adin Hill will start in net, and he is 2-0-0 with a 2.42 GAA average so far this season. The Preds haven't been too hot in attack yet this season, and I believe that Vegas will be able to outscore Nashville tonight.
To close out our NHL parlay on Frozen Frenzy night, let's take the Bruins to beat the Sharks in the final game of the day. Boston boasts a deep roster and they've shown their power with dominant 6-1 and 5-1 victories. On the flip side, San Jose just lost by multiple goals on home ice and has failed to score more than three goals in any of their last three games. Given Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman is among the Vezina Trophy favorites, expect the Sharks to be frustrated again and for Boston to prevail.
