Don’t look now, but the Ottawa Senators are sitting atop the Atlantic Division, and that’s after coming into this season without Brady Tkachuk. Of course, they are still only four games into a now 84-game campaign, but it’s still going to provide plenty of confidence for those looking to back them with their Predators vs Senators predictions.
As for the Nashville Predators, they’re trying to get back to being a playoff team with veterans Filip Forsberg and Roman Josi leading the charge. They need Juuse Saros to bounce back from his down season between the pipes last year, and speaking of goaltenders, Linus Ullmark has been looking strong for Ottawa thus far. These goalies are going to have plenty of pressure on them, as these are two teams that allow plenty of shots on goal, and that goes back further than just the start of this season. For ways to add to our Predators vs Senators prediction here, we would be checking out some goalie saves props.
That being said, we also don’t expect them to completely nullify the pressure in front of them. Even with the history of Saros and the solid start of Ullmark, our favorite way to approach this interconference clash is by simply rooting for goals.
