The Philadelphia Flyers welcome the Ottawa Senators to town and hope to pick up their first win of the season. It’s been a disastrous start, with a 0-6-3 record and just 1.22 goals per game. As a team, they allow the most shots against, so when you combine both, it’s not surprising they can’t win hockey games. They will win a game at some point, but it may not happen tonight.
The Senators are 6-2-0 on the season and 3-1-0 on the road. The main reason for their strong play has been goalie Linus Ullmark. The veteran netminder has a perfect 6-0-0 record, with a 1.20 GAA and a .949 SV%. He won't maintain those numbers all season, but for now, when he’s in action, the team doesn’t lose. The Flyers don’t have the offence to score many goals, if any. Once they fall behind, it’s pretty much over. We’ll take the Senators to continue their hot play and cover the Money Line.
Senators vs Flyers Prediction: Senators ML (-160) available at the time of publishing. Playable at that number or better.
