The Seattle Kraken continue their five-game road trip for a battle with the Philadelphia Flyers. It has been a good start to the season for Seattle (4-2-0), who are building momentum with a two-game winning streak. Will Philadelphia (0-5-2) finally end their winless start to the season? Here is our expert Kraken vs Flyers prediction.
A long road trip is never easy, but Seattle has made this one look like a cakewalk. They are 2-0-0, scoring an electric 11 goals in the process, adding to their status as one of the highest-scoring teams in the league. They now get the privilege of taking on one of the worst teams in the entire league. They look confident and are building excellent momentum as a team that knows they don’t have high outside expectations. I am confident they will realize Philadelphia isn’t as bad of a roster as they’ve shown, so I expect a full and honest effort.
In his second year as head coach, Lane Lambert is clearly getting his message across to the Kraken. Then there is the Flyers, who have absolutely nothing going for them. They are dead last in goals per game (1.14), have a power play below 10% (9.5%), and as a team give up 4.00 goals per game with a .890 save percentage. The team is in need of a major event to change their course, and I don’t foresee it in this game. Side with Seattle on the money line in this one.
