The Vegas Golden Knights came off their Stanley Cup Final loss last spring and surged to the top of the Pacific Division, but most recently, suffered a rather bad home loss (6-2) to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Thankfully for us, that game cashed an over for us, so it’s time for another winner with our best Golden Knights vs Blues prediction.
Mitch Marner and company are on the road this time around to take on a St. Louis Blues team that snuck away with a 2-1 victory the same night as the Vegas loss, which came over the Winnipeg Jets. It’s as if the team has finally realized that having Joel Hofer in net is better than Jordan Binnington, even if Canada wanted the latter between the pipes for the Olympics. Hofer didn’t have to outduel Connor Hellebuyck given his trade request, so now the question is whether or not he can stymie Vegas enough to come through for some Golden Knights vs Blues predictions.
While Hofer is an underrated netminder, this is still a Vegas squad that has the second-highest expected goals (second only to the defending champs). St. Louis still only score two goals in their recent victory and with that in mind, have an expected goals value of just two per game as well.
