The Blues are set to host the Jets for a Tuesday night showdown at Enterprise Center in St. Louis. The Blues have played eight games this season, but just two have come from the comfort of their own barn. They are 1-0-1 in those games, and now that they return home from a three-game road trip, they seem to be in a solid position to find the win column. St. Louis ranks 9th in the NHL, scoring 3.28 goals per game despite the power play clicking at a lowly 19% clip. The Blues have been strong when playing 5-on-5, and with a talented mix of forwards led by Dylan Holloway, Robert Thomas, and Mason McTavish, it's only a matter of time before the power play gets rolling.
On the other side, the Jets enter this contest coming off back-to-back losses to the Blackhawks and Hurricanes. Winnipeg is still without goaltender Connor Hellebuyck and Josh Morrissey, which are two huge losses. The offense ranks 23rd in the NHL, scoring 2.88 goals per game, and their offensive ceiling is limited without Morrissey quarterbacking the top power play unit. Look for the Blues to win this Western Conference matchup.
