Thursday night will feature a solid slate of 12 games. Whether you will be tuning in to watch your favorite team, or you are just here hanging around to find some action, we have you covered.

Here are a few NHL Best Bets that may be worth considering today — with lines and odds courtesy of FanDuel at the time of writing. Also, be sure to check out all of our NHL predictions for every game throughout the season, including all 12 matchups tonight.

NHL Best Bet: Minnesota Wild vs. Calgary Flames: Kirill Kaprizov 2+ points (+126)

Kirill Kaprizov and the Minnesota Wild will be continuing their Western Canada road trip as they head to Calgary to take on the Flames. Kaprizov has been on a heater as of late. He is leading the goal scoring race in the NHL, and is 5th in the league with 17 points in 10 games played. Five of his 10 games played this season have been multi-point games. The Flames are sitting dead last in the NHL and they are brutal defensively. They are the second-worst defensive team in the league, averaging 4.63 goals against per game.

Kaprizov should be able to take advantage of a young Flames team that yields a lot of high-danger scoring chances against. With the way Kaprizov is skating as of late, do not be surprised if he is able to get onto the scoresheet twice. Look for a huge night for Kaprizov against a brutal Flames team.

NHL Best Bet: San Jose Sharks vs. Ottawa Senators: Sharks Moneyline (-104)

The San Jose Sharks are heading into Ottawa to take on the Senators on Thursday night. The Sharks are coming off a big overtime win against a very good team in the Montreal Canadiens. The Senators are on the heels of a back-to-back. The Senators will be spent as they were in a spirited affair against the Florida Panther’s for Brady Tkachuk’s first time back in Ottawa since the trade. The Sens also saw their number one goalie, Linus Ullmark, leave the game in the third period with an injury. Samuel Ersson should be getting the start against the Sharks, and he had a 5.29 GAA and .829 SVP heading into action on Wednesday night.

The Sharks are a young team led by Macklin Celebrini and they will be full of energy. This is a good value spot for the Sharks. Take a chance on the road underdogs in this one.

NHL Best Bet: New York Rangers vs. Toronto Maple Leafs: Auston Matthews Anytime Goal (+130)

Auston Matthews is off to a great start to his season offensively. He is tied for 2nd in the NHL with 18 points, and also tied for 2nd in the league with eight goals on the year in 11 games played. He has six goals in his last six games, and only had one game where he didn’t score. His new look line with Jack Roslovic and Easton Cowan has been firing the last few games.

The Rangers are without their number one netminder in Igor Shesterkin, and Dylan Garand who is projected to get the start is no where near the goalie that Shesterkin is. Matthews tends to have a high shot volume, so expect him to get a few quality looks on goal. He is a sniper and it usually only takes one good look for him. Take Matthews to score a goal on Thursday.
