Oilers vs Wild Pickswise Expert Predictions

Money Line Pick
MIN Wild Win(-120)

Saturday afternoon in the NHL brings us a huge Western Conference matchup as the Edmonton Oilers take on the Minnesota Wild. Both the Wild (acquiring Quinn Hughes) and Oilers (acquiring Tristan Jarry) have made major splashes recently, and now clash for a big two points. To get you set for the action, here is our Oilers vs. Wild prediction.

Just yesterday the Oilers announced newly acquired starting goaltender Tristan Jarry is on the injured reserve. He will now not be a factor in this game, and while the team has looked good lately at 6-1-1, I believe this will be a major challenge. Minnesota has been red-hot for a prolonged period of time after a tough start to the season, and they are now threatening within the Western Conference standings to be at the top. They are 3-0-0 with their new elite defender Quinn Hughes, but have been rolling as a team lately as they have won six-straight games. They are also on home ice where they are 11-0-2 in their last 13 games. With a number of disappointing seasons over the years, this year’s version of the Wild seem destined for great things. Connor MvDavid and Leon Draisaitl always pose a major task, but I think Minnesota will handle it. For our Oilers vs. Wild prediction, take Minnesota on the money line.
