Edmonton Oilers vs San Jose Sharks Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 02/28/26

The Edmonton Oilers wrap up a four-game road trip, including three straight games in the state of California since the Olympic break. Edmonton lost 6-5 at Anaheim on Wednesday before bouncing back with an 8-1 win on Thursday night in Los Angeles. The Oilers have scored 40 goals in the past nine games, or 4.4 goals per game (GPG), while allowing 41 goals in the span, or 4.5 GPG. It’s been a good recipe for the Over, which has cashed high in three in a row, while going 7-0-2 in the stretch. That including a 4-3 overtime victory over the Sharks in Edmonton on Jan. 29.

The Sharks have had a power outage on offense since just before the Olympic break, lighting the lamp eight times in four games, or 2.0 GPG. Again, though, it pushed in Edmonton on a rare flat 7 total. The San Jose offense should be able to generate some offense against the Edmonton defense and goaltenders, who have struggled mightily lately. Look for some fire-wagon hockey in the Bay Area, getting to at least seven total goals.
