Edmonton Oilers vs Vancouver Canucks Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 10/26/25

The Edmonton Oilers will be completing a two-game road trip on Sunday as they are in Vancouver to take on the Canucks. The Canucks are currently riding a four-game losing streak and will be looking to take advantage of the Oilers who played less than 24 hours ago in Seattle. The Canucks have their Vezina candidate goaltender back healthy this season and he has been off to a good start. He is 3-2-0 to begin the season with a 0.927 SVP and 2.24 GAA. He has not allowed more than three goals in a game yet this season. He is going to play a big role in Sunday’s game against the Oilers if the Canucks are going to have any success. Forward Elias Pettersson is off to a decent start this season and the Canucks are going to need a lot from him this year. Hs is coming off a three-point outing, so I will be looking for him to keep the production going against the Oilers.

It seems to be much of the same from the Oilers to begin the season, relying heavily on production from Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl to carry them through games. McDavid has only one goal on the season which of course could change at any moment, but if the Canucks can find a way to limit his and Draisaitl’s opportunities, they can have success in this game. With home ice advantage on their side, and the Oilers on the second half of a back-to-back, I think this is a good spot to take a chance on the home underdogs. Give me the Canucks on the money line.
