Money Line Pick
FLA Panthers Win(-150)

The New Jersey Devils and Florida Panthers meet for a Thursday night battle in the NHL. The Devils have been incredible this season at 13-5-1, but they know they still have a long way to go in a competitive Metropolitan Division. As for Florida, their 10-8-1 record is slowly improving, but their slow start has hindered them. This should be a tight matchup between two capable teams, and we are here with our Devils vs. Panthers prediction.

The Devils will be out without their best player in Jack Hughes, after a freak accident at a team dinner has caused him to be sidelined with injury for roughly eight weeks. This is a major blow to a surging team, and while they are 1-0-1 without him so far, I think they will be in for a tough matchup. I think their most recent 5-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning could be indicative on just how big a loss this is. I don’t expect a 4+ goal margin blowout here, but Florida is on home ice and are playing well with three wins in their past four games.  The Panthers are also facing many injuries of their own, but I think they are still the real deal and can hand New Jersey’s second-straight loss. For our Devils vs. Panthers prediction, take the Florida Panthers money line.
