New York Rangers vs Boston Bruins Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 11/28/25

The New York Rangers will be visiting the Boston Bruins as the NHL returns from it’s Thanksgiving Day off. The Rangers are coming into this game riding a 2-game winning streak and on the heels of a big win against the rock-solid Carolina Hurricanes. If the Rangers can figure out their offensive game, they will be a very difficult team to beat. They are one of the best defensive teams in hockey, averaging 2.60 goals against per game. This is largely due to the play of netminder Igor Shesterkin. He is slated to get the start, and has a 2.47 GAA and .911 SVP. They are going up against a Bruins team that to most, has been over performing to begin the season. This Rangers team has a much deeper forward group, and I expect that to be the difference in this game.

The Bruins really don’t have too many offensive weapons outside of David Pastrnak and Morgan Geekie. If the Rangers can shut this line down, they should be successful in this game. The Bruins will also be without their top defenseman, Charlie McAvoy. I will be taking the road team in this one.
