Pittsburgh Penguins vs Boston Bruins Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 03/03/26

The Pittsburgh Penguins hit the road for TD Garden in Boston to try and exact a little revenge on the Bruins. The B’s have won three in a row in this series, including a 1-0 win at TD Garden on Jan. 11 in the first meeting this season as an even-money home underdog as Joonas Korpisalo stopped 27 shots to send Stuart Skinner to a hard-luck loss. The Pens are coming off a shutout, blanking the Vegas Golden Knights 5-0 on Sunday in matinee action as the Under (6.5) cashed. Arturs Silovs did a great job, topping 22 shots in the shutout. Pittsburgh has picked up points in five in a row, going 3-0-2, while posting a 10-1-4 mark in the past 15 games to play themselves right back into the postseason picture.

The Bruins weren’t really expected to do much this season, but they’re knocking it out of the park this season, and they’re on the verge of making the playoffs after a shocking struggle last season. Boston lost 3-1 in Philadelphia on Saturday, but the B’s are still 5-1-3 in the past nine games, and 13-2-3 across the previous 18 outings, collecting 29 out of a possible 36 points in the span. Based on Boston’s strong showing in this series, and the fact the B’s are 22-8-1 at home, let’s back Boston, but don’t get carried away.
