Blues vs Predators Pickswise Expert Predictions

Game Totals Pick
Under 6.0(-115)

The St. Louis Blues and Nashville Predators meet for a Thursday night, Central Division showdown. These teams have both been quite underwhelming this season, with a combined record of 22-27-11, as both sit at the bottom of the division and near the bottom of the entire NHL. How will this one play out? Let’s get into our Blues vs. Predators prediction.

These teams have been awful in both scoring and defending. In fact, they each rank in the bottom-5 in goals per game and goals against per game, but I expect the poor offense to continue. These teams are quite evenly matched, so I expect a long, hard-fought game, without any team showing pure dominance over the other. St. Louis has surpassed two goals in just one of their past six games, and while Nashville’s offense has looked okay lately, I don’t expect to see any major results. St. Louis also has a ton of injuries up front, including Jordan Kyrou, Jimmy Snuggerud, Nick Bjugstad to name a few (combined for 17 goals and 32 points). There is not much firepower or momentum for both teams, so let’s take the under on Thursday.

Blues vs. Predators prediction: Under 6.0 (-115) available at time of publishing. Playable to (-130).
