Blues vs Devils Pickswise Expert Predictions

Money Line 3-Way Pick
NJ Devils(+105)

The New Jersey Devils are coming off a win against the Detroit Red Wings that had them put an end to a three-game losing streak. They will be welcoming the St. Louis Blues, who are 1-5 in their last six games played, to town on Wednesday night. The Devils are without superstar forward Jack Hughes, but without him they still have enough up front to take care of the Blues. Jesper Bratt and Nico Hischier have stepped up in his absence with four and five points in their last two games played, respectively. They will be going up against a Blues team that has been brutal defensively, and had poor goaltending. As a team, they are averaging 3.61 goals against per game.

The Blues are not doing nearly enough on the offensive side of things to make up for their poor defensive play and goaltending. They are averaging only 2.65 goals per game. Their powerplay is among the worst in the league, operating at 75.0%. Look for the Devils to capitalize on a powerplay opportunity if they get one. I like the Devils to get this done on home ice, I will be taking them to win in regulation time.

Blues vs. Devils prediction: Devils 3-way ML (+105) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
