The Capitals will be on the second half of a back-to-back as they were in Calgary on Friday to take on the Flames. They won that game by a score of 3-1. The Oilers are coming off an embarrassing loss on home ice to the Pittsburgh Penguins by a score of 6-2. They will be looking to bounce back from this. With the Capitals having played on Friday, they will be starting their backup netminder, Charlie Lindgren. He is nowhere near the same caliber of goaltender as their starter Logan Thompson. On the season, Lindgren has a 3.19 GAA and .888 SVP. The Oilers will be starting Connor Ingram who is coming off a 27-save shutout in his last appearance.

McDavid has been held pointless in his last two games, and I don’t expect that to continue any longer. Look for a big offensive game from him and Draisaitl, who was also held pointless in his last game. When these teams are firing, there is no one in the league who can keep up with them.
