Lipscomb Bisons vs Duke Blue Devils Prediction, Odds and Picks for Tuesday, 12/16/25

No. 3 Duke looks to remain undefeated as they welcome Lipscomb to Durham, N.C. The Blue Devils last took the floor on December 5th, when they rallied late to defeat then-No. 7 Michigan State. The time off shouldn’t be an issue for Duke, and even if they come out a bit rusty, it’ll be short lived as I expect them to find their rhythm against an overmatched Lipscomb team. 

The Bison enter this matchup with a 6-4 record, averaging 80.4 points per game, while Duke sits at 10-0 and is averaging 86.8 points per game. According to KenPom, Duke is ranked 10th in adjusted offensive efficiency, while Lipscomb is ranked 167th. Defensively, Duke is ranked 3rd according to KenPom and Lipscomb is sitting at 122nd. There’s a stark difference between these two teams, and Cameron Boozer will be a major problem for the Bison. Boozer leads the Blue Devils in scoring (23.0 PPG), rebounds (9.9 RPG), and assists (3.8 APG). Lipscomb’s leading scorer is Grant Asman who averages 13.7 points per game, but he’ll have a tough time against Duke’s defense. This is easily the toughest test Lipscomb has faced all season. Earlier this year, the Bison opened their schedule with a 44-point loss to Vanderbilt, and a similar outcome will be likely against Duke Tuesday night. Look for Boozer and the Blue Devils to cruise to victory as Lipscomb will struggle to put points up on the board.
