Nebraska vs Michigan Pickswise Expert Predictions

Point Spread Pick
Nebraska Win +10.5(-115)

We have a Big Ten battle on Tuesday night as unbeaten No.5 Nebraska gets set to take on No. 3 Michigan. Nebraska is one of the last remaining unbeaten teams in the country, and its defense will be put to the test against a high-powered Wolverines offense. The Cornhuskers have had some notable wins this season, defeating then-No. 9 Michigan State by two and then-No. 13 Illinois by three.

Both teams have terrific defenses, with Michigan ranking second in Adjusted Defensive Efficiency according to KenPom and Nebraska close behind at 11th. Offensively, the Wolverines have the edge, averaging 91.7 points per game compared to Nebraska’s 80.9. The biggest unanswered question is how Nebraska handles Michigan’s size. The Wolverines feature three big interior players who can score and pass – Yaxel Lendeborg, Morez Johnson Jr., and Aday Mara. The Wolverines will also need to find a way to slow down Pryce Sandfort, who has been exceptional as of late, averaging 23.8 points per game. Sam Hoiberg has also stepped up, averaging 12.8 points over his last four games, and he adds another player with his willingness to move the ball and get teammates involved. This should be a terrific matchup between these two teams, but don’t expect Michigan to run away with this one. Nebraska’s defense will find a way to slow down Michigan’s offense, and even though I don’t think they’ll win this game, they should be able to keep this game within single digits.

Nebraska vs Michigan prediction: Nebraska +10.5 (-115) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
