Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs Kansas Jayhawks Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 11/24/25

It’s an action-packed week in college basketball as the Kansas Jayhawks and Notre Dame Fighting Irish meet in the opening round of the Players Era Tournament on Monday in Las Vegas. The Jayhawks are coming off a tough loss to Duke in which they shot 43.3% from the field; they will need to improve that number if they want to pick up a win against a Notre Dame team that is shooting 50.7% from the field this season. 

The Jayhawks will be without leading scorer Darryn Peterson, who was averaging 21.5 points per game. In his absence, the Jayhawks will rely on Flory Bidunga and Tre White. Bidunga enters this matchup averaging 16.4 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, while White adds 14 points and 5.2 rebounds per game — both will be counted on to carry the offensive load in this tournament. Markus Burton leads the Irish with 19.4 points per game, and Notre Dame has two other players averaging double-digits who can help contribute. Notre Dame is a strong rebounding team, and Carson Towt should give the Irish plenty of second-chance opportunities. The Irish shoot from a high percentage from the floor and have quality depth; if they can maintain that level of performance, it will be hard for Kansas to keep up — especially without Peterson. Look for Notre Dame to come into this game amped up and keep it close — or potentially even win it outright.
