Rider Broncs vs Rutgers Scarlet Knights Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 11/05/25

The Broncs are not a team that will move the needle. Rutgers meanwhile Big Ten and all, will get respect in this market. What we love about Power Conference versus Mid Major constituents is the prejudice and bias. Rider on paper is a team that shouldn’t compete with the Scarlet Knights, but are the Scarlet Knights a force in the Power Conference realms? Not particularly.

However, Rider in its own stead is not a power player. 14-19 last year in the MAAC, a team that at one point was getting tooled up by Canisius who was the weakest team rated by KenPom. The traffic in this contest? One-way and the line has been getting hammered upward on the Scarlet Knights which opens the window of value. If Rider loses here, oh well, that’s what they are supposed to do. But the Broncs are the type of underdog to like because they will throw punches and see if they land with inflated points behind them. Sign me up.
