FIU has a solid defense in CUSA, but they have issues on the offensive side. It's going to be difficult for them to cover, much less win, if they can't match the scoring of the Flames, who put up more than 31 points per game and are one of the most efficient units in the nation over the last six weeks. Meanwhile, the Panthers are outside the top 100 in a vast majority of offensive metrics.
This Red Raiders squad is not what they were last year, and a lot of that has to do with Will Hammond's struggles under center. Texas Tech also isn't quite as tenacious defensively, which could rear its ugly head with Noah Fifita and the Arizona Wildcats coming to town. They've scored at least 34 points in six of their seven games.
We're in rinse-and-repeat mode on Oregon State's team total. At least, until we see someone slow the Beavers down. They've surpassed this number in five straight games, while they've tallied at least 48 in four of them. They're off a bye this week, as is Fresno State, who surrendered 38 to Boise State and 39 to USC.
