In Conference USA play on Tuesday, the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders host the Delaware Blue Hens in Murfreesboro. These teams have met three previous times, with Delaware winning all three of the matchups. That includes October 22, 2025 in Newark, when the Blue Hens posted a 31-28 victory in their first-ever clash as fellow members of C-USA. Prior to that, the two hadn't met since 1978, the only meeting in the series in Murfreesboro.
MTSU was blanked 55-0 at Kansas and has cashed the under in four of five games to date. The offense has scored well, going for 26+ points in the first three games, but the defense has surprisingly decent until the Kansas game, allowing 23 or fewer points in three of the first four. Delaware has cashed low in four of five games, too, including a 30-14 loss against Liberty on October 2 last time out. It has scored 26 or fewer points in four in a row. We won't get a defensive slog, but a total of 49.5 is quite high given the under history for both sides.
