The Maryland Terrapins take the trip to Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette. If you're a Terps fan, make a stop at Harry's Chocolate Shop. The Terps are just 2-6 on the season, and looking to avoid a seventh loss, which would officially end any hopes of a postseason berth. Maryland lost a disappointing 20-17 game at home to Illinois, which might have put a nail in its coffin. The Terps have lost six in a row, but the past two losses are one-score games; they're not quitting.
The Purdue Boilermakers have played well at home, despite going 1-3 SU. All four games have been against teams likely to go bowling. If Purdue hopes to join them, it needs a victory here. It certainly has the offense, going for 24 or more points in six of eight games, and the over is 4-0 in four home outings. For UMD, the over has cashed in both Big Ten road games, allowing 46.5 PPG. They've give up 35+ in five of the past six games, too.
Over 56.5 (+106) at time of publishing. Playable to 57 (-110).
