Following a full slate of midweek action on the gridiron, Week 6 of the college football season gets underway in earnest with a massive slate of games on Saturday. We have a showcase game in the SEC (Georgia vs Alabama) as one of the clear highlights on the card, along with a massive showdown in the Big Ten between UCLA and Oregon and a couple notable games in the ACC, Big 12 and Group of Six to provide plenty of intrigue in the later afternoon and evening slate.

Ahead of another fabulous weekend of college football, it’s time to break down our weekly CFB parlay, consisting of our expert's favorite plays of the week at very juicy odds of +555, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook. Penn State ML (-110)

Oregon State team total over 34.5 (-120)

UCLA vs Oregon Over 57.5 (-110)

Week 6 CFB Parlay odds: +555

CFB Parlay Pick: Penn State Nittany Lions ML over USC Trojans (-110)

Penn State is a team that most of the general public will likely stay away from on Saturday after the Nittany Lions were embarrassed on the road to Northwestern a week ago following a shocking defeat to Wisconsin as a double-digit favorite. However, this is a great opportunity to buy low on Matt Campbell’s group in a must-win spot with USC coming to State College. The Trojans have historically never traveled well under Lincoln Riley, and I find it hard to see that changing on a White Out night in Happy Valley, especially since USC is one of the youngest teams in the Big Ten. Gary Patterson's defense has performed very poorly in recent weeks, which presents an opportunity for Penn State's struggling offense to get back on track at home. Other the other side, the Trojans offense was surprisingly stuck in the mud against a very poor Washington team and they were fortunate to win that game. All things considered, I'll back the Nittany Lions to pick up a much-needed win at home.

CFB Parlay Pick: Oregon State Beavers team total over 34.5 vs San Diego State Aztecs (-120)

Oregon State's offense has been on the more fun stories in college football this season, and the Beavers are coming off a 56-point showing against Colorado State a week ago that made the Rams defensive coordinator walk off the field and quit at halftime. Conversely, San Diego State just allowed 565 yards to Texas State a week ago, and they likely would've lost that game if not for a defensive touchdown and a special teams touchdown. Oregon State is a much more disciplined team compared to Texas State, and the Beavers also have a quarterback in Braden Atkinson (16 touchdowns to two interceptions) that is playing at an extremely high level at the moment. Oregon State averages 47 points per game over its last three contests, and I have a hard time seeing the Aztecs slow down Jesse Legree and a very balanced group of pass catchers. I'll steer clear of the spread and bank on the Beavers to keep up their high-scoring ways on Saturday.

CFB Parlay Pick: UCLA Bruins vs Oregon Ducks Over 57.5 (-110)

For the final leg of our parlay, we'll go back to the Big Ten for a matchup between UCLA and Oregon. On paper, there should be advantages for both offenses in this game. Oregon will go with Dylan Raiola at quarterback, and the former Nebraska product looked extremely comfortable in his first real action in Ducks uniform, finishing 19-of-25 for 289 yards and two touchdowns after stepping in for the injured Dante Moore against USC. Raiola and the Ducks should see plenty of success against a UCLA defense that has faced a very poor strength of schedule to this point struggled in games against California and Purdue. On the other side, the Oregon defense hasn't been great against the run, and this is something UCLA should be able to exploit with Wayne Knight (9.1 yards per carry and nine TDs) and a healthy stable of running backs, plus the legs of quarterback Nico Iamaleava. These teams are a combined 7-1 to the over this season, so let's follow that trend on Saturday.
